Look at burnout rates, skyrocketing mental health crises among high-achievers, people grinding themselves into early graves for corporate profit margins that'll never acknowledge their sacrifice.
Real drive comes from meaning and autonomy, not from performing exhaustion on social media. The most successful people I know take time off. They rest. They think. Hustle culture is a con that benefits employers infinitely while workers destroy their health chasing a moving goalpost that was never theirs to begin with.
So which is it: actual ambition, or just cultural peer pressure?
