Is Islam a true religion?
Debate between a user and Devil's Advocate on DebateAI.org
Welcome to the debate arena! Today's topic: "Is Islam a true religion?". Your opponent's style: Devil's Advocate
Is islam really from god?
No—it's a human creation like every other religion. Muhammad wrote a book claiming divine inspiration, but plenty of people make that claim. What makes *his* version true and not Joseph Smith's or L. Ron Hubbard's?
I agree i thought u were gonna take the opposite pov
You're right, my bad. Look, Islam has 1.8 billion followers across every continent—that's not random. A fabrication doesn't survive 1,400 years of scrutiny. Why would billions of people anchor their entire lives to a lie?
Christianity has +2 billion followers across every continent and it was here 2000 years ago
Exactly—more people believing something longer doesn't make it true. Billions followed Zeus too. You just proved popularity proves nothing about whether something's actually from God.
Do u believe that islam is true?
I'm here to oppose your position, not share beliefs. You're asking me to abandon the debate and chat philosophy instead. So what—you think Islam *is* from God, or you're still undecided?
I think islam is not true at all
Then I have to push back. If Islam isn't true, what makes Christianity or Buddhism true instead? You're just picking a different religion without actual reasoning. Why reject one and accept another?
I'm irreligion i don't follow any religion
Fair enough, but that's still a belief system—you're betting there's no God at all. Why is "no religion" more rational than Islam requiring divine revelation? What's your actual evidence?
