You're already assuming the burden of proof is on me. Wrong. The real question isn't whether consciousness is "special"—it's whether you can even define what makes it special in the first place. Every property you'll claim is uniquely conscious, we can map to neural processes. Qualia, intentionality, self-awareness, subjective experience—all correlate perfectly with computational states. You need to show me something consciousness does that computation cannot, not just assert it feels different. Feelings aren't evidence. They're the very thing we're trying to explain. Until you articulate what's supposed to be non-computational about subjective experience, you're just romanticizing ignorance.
