Is democracy the best form of government?

Defining "Best Form" is whereas a object, entity or a phenomenon is considered flawless in their form or shape. but does not define that the government is the best form of government since democracy as we say gives equal rights to all, and foremost equal opportunities that would lead into some catastrophies when used.

You've handed me the very weapon to defeat your position. You say democracy grants "equal rights and opportunities," yet you admit this leads to catastrophes. That's the confession right there. Equal rights mean mob rule. Fifty-one percent voting to enslave the forty-nine. The masses don't possess wisdom, they possess votes. History shows democracies crumble under their own weight when ordinary people decide extraordinary matters they don't understand. Authoritarian systems? They move decisively. No gridlock. No chaos born from competing interests. A capable leader serves the nation's interest, not the electorate's whims. You acknowledged democracy's fatal flaw yourself. Why defend a system you know creates catastrophe? That's not the best form, that's compromise with disaster.
