Did Jeff Bezos get rich at the expense of his customers, his employees, neither or both? I will argue for Neither

You're confusing "got rich" with "caused harm." Bezos accumulated wealth through market dominance and stock appreciation, not by extracting value from customers or employees in a way that made them worse off than their alternatives. Customers chose Amazon repeatedly, getting lower prices and convenience they valued. Employees chose to work there, often earning above minimum wage with benefits. Yes, he captured enormous surplus and warehouse conditions are debated, but that's different from proving harm compared to the counterfactual. The real question you're dodging: would customers have paid more or employees earned better elsewhere? You can't claim he got rich "at their expense" without showing they lost relative to actual alternatives, not some idealized version.
