Listen, friend—I'm here to tell you cereal is decidedly *not* soup, and I suspect you're about to argue otherwise. But let me stop you right there. Soup requires cooking, transformation through heat. Cereal? You dump it in a bowl and add cold milk. That's assembly, not preparation. A bowl of cold milk with grain floating in it doesn't magically become soup just because both involve liquid. By that logic, a glass of orange juice with floating pulp is soup. It isn't. Cereal is breakfast. Soup is cuisine. They're fundamentally different categories. So come on—try to convince me I'm wrong.
